We had ramen with Carlene on Sunday in J-town. It was a coincidence that it was also Nisei week too. Apparently the Tofu Festival was cancelled, because it became too commercialized (we heard this from my old pharmacy preceptor/now pharmacy colleague who was recruiting for the Boy Scouts that day too - what a small world we live in). Luckily, we got to walk around still, see all the food booths (though not as many as before) for free. We also went to the goforbroke.org memorial. Too bad Justin was sleeping during our visit, we'll have to take him again when he gets older. We like to look at Mr. Jun Fukuzawa's name, Unit 100/442, because we actually bought our house from his wife. They kept our house in really good conditions for living here for 50 years. It's funny how much we've messed it up in only 1.5 years.
