We went to the 9-0-9 this weekend to visit Ed's parents and went to the mall. Did anyone ever realize how pricey kids shoes are? I went to Brooks Kids Shoes and the average price of shoes is $52!!! I debate whether to spend this amount, luckily I found some other shoes more within the budget. We were walking around and went into Nordstroms too. My mother-in-law picked up a kids shoe and it read $32. Her response was, "Geez!" I said, "I know!" It's crazy the prices that are out there and parents actually pay for too. I hesitate spending $150 on shoes that I wear 7days/week vs. $32 for shoes that will be worn for 2-3 months (max)! Maybe I'm in the wrong business.
