We found a great place to beat the heat. We ventured to Palos Verdes based on a recommendation received many years ago. While it was 90+ degrees in the SGV we found a fun oasis that was in the 70s for temperature. We really had a great time there.

I'd love to know the details, did you go to a specific beach or park?
We drove down hawthorne blvd until it hit the ocean and made a left and we just saw parked cars and parked there. Didn't catch the name....
